Bernhard Osann

Bernhard Osann is a German designer working on furniture and lighting.

Untitled began from the look of articulated arms — the counterweighted, jointed desk lamp — and then removed almost all of it. What remains is a thin line that bends, with the flexibility carried by the material rather than by a mechanism.

The result reads more as a drawn line than as a fixture, which is where the name comes from.
