Terms of service

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy from Archicomma. Archicomma sells design furniture and lighting from London, worldwide. Our address is 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, and you can reach us at info@archicomma.com.

Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer. Where a term below is more restrictive than the law allows for consumers, the law applies.

Made to order

Most of the furniture and lighting we sell is produced to order by the maker. Nothing is mass-stocked except the pieces marked In stock. This has two consequences you should know before ordering:

  • Lead times are long. The production time is shown on each product page and is set by the maker, not by us. It can run to several weeks or months. We pass on any change as soon as the maker tells us.
  • A piece built to your own configuration cannot be cancelled once production has started. See our Refund Policy for exactly when this applies.

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We enter an order into production once we have all the information we need from you.

Please read the confirmation and tell us within 24 hours if anything is wrong. We cannot always change an order once production has started, but we will tell you what is possible.

We may decline or cancel an order if a price or description on the site was wrong, if the piece is no longer available from the maker, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where it applies. Import duties and local taxes on international orders are not included — see our Shipping Policy.

We take payment through Shopify Payments. We do not add a surcharge for paying by card, and no processing fee is deducted from any refund.

Cancelling an order

If you are a consumer

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and separate rights if the goods are faulty. Both are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If you buy through a trade account

Business purchases are not covered by consumer cancellation rights. Once we have confirmed a trade order and the maker has begun production, the order cannot be cancelled. If you cancel before production begins we will charge only costs we have already incurred. We agree the terms with you in writing when we open the account.

Delivery

Delivery times, carriers and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Production times vary by piece and are shown on each product page. We give estimates in good faith; where a maker's lead time changes we will tell you as soon as we know.

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered.

Authenticity

Everything we sell is sourced directly from the manufacturer or their appointed distributor. We do not sell reproductions.

Images and descriptions

We use the makers' own photography and specifications. Colours vary between screens, and natural materials such as marble, leather and solid timber vary between pieces — that variation is a property of the material, not a fault. If an exact match matters to your project, ask us for a sample before ordering.

Using this website
