Arne Hovmand-Olsen

Arne Hovmand-Olsen was a Danish cabinetmaker and furniture designer who worked through the middle decades of the twentieth century, mostly in solid wood.

The Surfboard coffee table of 1959 takes its name from its outline: a long tapered top with the short ends turned up, which lifts the silhouette and keeps the mass down.

Warm Nordic reissued the table from the original drawings, in oak, walnut and teak.
