The USM Inos system was designed by Alexander Schärer with Dr Thomas Dienes and the Swiss studio Atelier Oï — a different team from the one behind the Haller system itself.
Inos solves the problem Haller leaves open. An open steel frame is excellent at holding things and poor at hiding them, so Inos supplies boxes, trays and drawer sets sized exactly to the Haller grid.
The sets slide into an existing shelf without tools or fittings, which means a shelf built decades ago can be converted to closed storage and back again.
